AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST SHOWCASE FOR WHISKY & SPIRITS

The success of 2024's Whisky & Craft Spirits Festival has demonstrated our thirst for quality spirits has not diminished. If anything it has flourished in a world of savvy consumers searching out the best brand to score their hard earned cash. That's what makes this next event so exciting!​

 

If you are new to this event, Bartholomew's, in the heart of Newcastle's CBD, is where it all happens. Our unique 2-storey venue boasts the largest selection of Whisky, Whiskey and Craft Spirits outside of Australian capital cities. It's a grand old dame of a building, starting its life in 1903 as a Methodist Mission. The space and atmosphere makes it a one of a kind venue in Australia.​

 

The event offers a general entry session from 2–5:30pm, with additional masterclasses available, and a VIP lunch hosted by the primary sponsor from 12-2pm.

WHAT IS WACS FESTIVAL ALL ABOUT?

The Newcastle Whisky and Craft Spirit Festival is an annual showcase for brands and distributors. It pulls the best products and producers from all corners of our country, and the globe, introducing spirit lovers to a brand new audience you might otherwise not reach.

 

We don't just want to bring in the best products, we also want to host the best makers in the industry, ensuring this event is something that has everybody talking.

EVENT SCHEDULE

WHERE: Bartholomew's, 145 King St Newcastle

DATE: Saturday 23rd August, 2025

BUMP IN: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

BUMP OUT: 6:00 PM

SCHEDULE: 

– VIP Lunch (hosted by primary sponsor)  12:00–2PM

– General Entry from 2:00–5:30 PM

STALL HOLDERS: Approximately 30-40

ACTIVITIES: 
Tastings, VIP Lunch, Masterclasses, Food, Music

STALL INFORMATION

There is NO COST to be a stallholder, however you must provide goods for attendees to taste. Please ensure you have enough supplies to last the duration of the event. Sample sizes poured will be left to the discretion of the vendors. 

AS A STALL HOLDER YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • Social Media Exposure. The festival and venue social accounts provides unique access to a 13,000+ email subscriber database, 10,000 Facebook followers and close to 8,000 Instagram followers.

  • Stall holders will have their brand and product imagery promoted via the website and festival social media accounts.

  • Stall holder brands will be present on our venue map and POS items.

  • Your own stall area at the venue.

  • Exposure to 350 ticket holders on the day.

  • Access to network with industry peers.

 

TECHNICAL DETAILS

  • Stall Holder allocation - 2400mm x 1800mm

  • Table & tablecloth provided (1800mm x 600mm)

  • BYO signage (available allocation for:)

    • 1 x freestanding banner up to 600mm W

    • 1 x freestanding sign up to 1800mm W

    • Table signage

  • Bump in from 10:00 AM - all stalls need to be set up, and the venue cleared at 11:30 AM so that the VIP event can commence at 12. 

  • All stalls to be staffed from 1:30 PM for VIP early access

  • Bump out will be at the conclusion of the event at 5.30 PM

  • All tasting glasses will be supplied by us
