AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST SHOWCASE FOR WHISKY & SPIRITS

After last years great success has shown our thirst for quality spirits hasn't diminished. If anything it has flourished in a world of savvy consumers. That's what makes our next event so exciting!​

 

If you weren’t involved previous events, then Bartholomew's, in the heart of Newcastle, is where it will all happen. Our unique venue boasts the largest selection of Whisky, Whiskey and Craft Spirits outside of Australia's capital cities. It's a grand old dame of a building with plenty of space, and an atmosphere unmatched anywhere in Australia.​

 

This year, the event will be bigger and better than ever with two sessions, masterclasses, and a VIP lunch.

WHAT IS WACS FESTIVAL ALL ABOUT?

The Newcastle WACS Festival (Whisky and Craft Spirit) is an annual showcase for brands and distributors. It pulls the best products and producers from all corners of the globe, and introduces you to a brand new audience that you might not otherwise have the chance to reach.​

 

We don't just want to bring the best products, but also the best people in the industry, to ensure that the event is something that has everybody talking.

THE EVENT SCHEDULE

Where: Bartholomew's, 145 King St Newcastle

Date: 24th August 2024

Bump In: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Bump Out: 8:30 PM

Time:

  • VIP Lunch 12:00 - 1:30 PM,

  • VIP Early Entry - 1:30 PM

  • Session 1 - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

  •  Session 2: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Tickets: 650 including (300 per session + 50 VIP's)

Stall Holders: Approx 40

Activities: Tastings, VIP Lunch, Masterclasses, Food, Music

STALL INFORMATION
 

There is no cost to be a stallholder, however you must provide goods for attendees to taste. Please ensure you have enough supplies to last the duration of the event. Sample sizes will be left to the discretion of the vendors. 

As a stallholder you receive:

  • Social Media Exposure - through our network of venues across Newcastle and the Hunter you gain exposure to our social audience of over 25,000 followers (and growing)

  • Stall Holder listing on our website and social media

  • Stall holder listing on our venue map on the day

  • Your own stall area at the venue

  • Exposure to 650 ticket holders on the day

  • As a stallholder you will also gain the same access as our attendees, with the chance to network with industry members

 

The technical details:

  • Stall Holder allocation - 2400mm x 1800mm

  • Table & tablecloth provided (1800mm x 600mm)

  • BYO signage (available allocation for:)

    • 1 x freestanding banner up to 600mm W

    • 1 x freestanding sign up to 1800mm W

    • Table signage

  • Bump in from 10:30 AM - all stalls need to be set up, and the venue cleared at 11:30 AM so that the VIP event can commence. 

  • All stalls to be staffed from 1:30 PM for VIP early access

  • Bump out will be at the conclusion of the event at 8:30 PM

  • All tasting glasses will be supplied
